Among our customers, is the co-founder of one of the world's largest platforms for developing computer games. He has introduced us to the use of VR-technology, which today is one of our most important tools in both sketching and customer presentations. The opportunity to enter the projects through VR has added an exciting field of opportunity in our work. We focused on that in our installation at the Danish Architecture Center.
In order for Virtual Reality to work well in an exhibition, what the guest see in the Head-set appears on a large spatial installation. Thus, we turn an introverted activity into an extroverted experience. This makes it interesting not only to use VR but also to look at the VR user. One of the projects we display in VR is the installation itself. In this way you can experience the possibilities as well as the limitations of VR.
The installation forms a contrast to the Staircase Gallery in BLOX. It is soft, vibrant, alive and ephemeral, and connects human interaction with a spatiality that is reflected in itself.
