Lighting sets for the Culture Night.
We were hired by REDA to stage parts of a guided route on Refshaleøen. There were 3 different locations:
The Marking Hall; staged with lights, 1 movie theater, and a projection from the optical tower.
The Transformer Station; staged with lights and sound.
YARD gallery; where we made the art installation Happy lights.
Everyone was invited on a guided tour of the old yard, visiting hidden and secret parts of the island. There was searched for traces of the ancient life in the shipyard and told stories about the new life that sprung up on the abandoned place. The site carries many stories, and on the trip some could be seen, staged with a scenography of light, which provided support and opposition to the historical context.
Artist Anette Skov guided the tour.
